Bandwidth is the amount of data transferred from your site to your visitors.

Disk space is tha amount of space used on our server by your uploaded files.

Securing your own domain name is very important, your domain name is essentially your global identity on Internet. We offer domain registration services as well as hosting services.

All our hosting plans support your own domain (e.g. you.com) whether it has been registered by us or no. We transfer domain names at no charges.

If we have to register your domain, additional fees will be billed separately to cover the InterNIC fee. 

YES !  This gives you as many POP3 email accounts as you need.  POP3 email accounts are checked using the most commonly used email clients such as Outlook Express.  

Each email address you setup may have an autoresponder (this means when someone sends you an email the mail server automatically replies with a message you have setup to let the sender know you have received the message).

Email forwarding allows you to automatically forward an email sent to you@yourdomain.com to one or multiple recipients.

We provide a control panel specifically for setting up your email accounts and managing email forwarding, autoresponders, email passwords, etc.

Our custom control panel can be used to setup email, view statistics, order pointers or subdomains, view disk space and more. etc.

FTP Access is given 24-7, this means that any time you wish to modify your site via FTP it's simply a matter of logging on and uploading your files to the live server.

We also provide detailed statistics for your site including referrers, hits, sessions, current bandwidth and more.

On Linux CGI/Perl scripts must be located in your own cgi-bin directory (this is automatically created when your account is created.

Perl 5 is supported on Linux servers. This enables you to run most CGI/Perl scripts written for the UNIX/Linux platform.

PHP4 is also supported.

IMPORTANT : Linux servers do NOT support Frontpage extensions, ASP, JSP or derivatives.

Other goodies
A pre-installed counter which you can place on any of your pages to count the number of hits that page has received.

Sendmail is supported on the Linux servers.  It allows you to send email from your site to your visitors. 

All Linux Servers support MySQL.  Each domain is allowed one MySQL database.  The setup is done through the control panel.  

There is also a web based interface to administer your MySQL server.

We house our servers in major data centres in San Francisco, Denver and San Antonio.

The data centres run the Border Gate Protocol (BGP4) for best case routing. The entirely switched, Cisco powered network employs Cisco 12000 GSR and 7500 class routers running HSRP (N+1 hot failover) to ensure that data can be routed even in the event of a router failover.

We have multiple DC3-OC12 connections to backbones.

The Network currently operates at less than 50% capacity during peak hours. This allows for us to accomodate even the largest spikes in traffic that are often associated with the most popular websites. We are always adding network connectivity and new routes in an effort to make sure content is delivered to you users as efficiently as possible. A low bandwidth utilization also allows for the highest amount of uptime.
